Our Updated COVID-19 Response Protocol at Hopkins Carpet One

Hopkins Carpet One is putting the health and safety of our customers, employees and community first. With rising cases in our area, we’ve updated our COVID-19 response protocol. We are all in the midst of an extremely complex situation, and COVID-19 presents challenges for all of us. We want you to know that Hopkins Carpet One is committed to serving you while keeping our employees and our clients safe. We want to give you all of the information necessary to help you feel safe and comfortable when coming into our store or welcoming our team into your home for an installation. In order to safely meet your flooring needs during this crisis, we have adopted the following plan.

In Our Store

  • When you come to our showroom we want you to know we are taking every precaution to keep you safe. That’s why appointments are again required in order to keep the number of customers in our store at one time to a minimum. 
  • We practice social distancing in order to allow for a safe and comfortable shopping experience.
  • All of our employees have their temperature checked every day, they wear masks and frequently disinfect surfaces.

When Measuring

  • When our estimator comes to your home or business to take measurements for your new installation, he or she will wear a mask at all times. 
  • We also ask that homeowners also wear a mask when interacting with estimators.

For Installations

  • Installers wear masks when interacting with homeowners.
  • We recommend homeowner wears a mask when interacting with installers in their home.
  • We prefer for homeowners to stay in another room, separate level of home or even leave their home while our installers are working.

We understand every homeowner wants to improve their home’s quality and that fact is unchanged today. Even though this year may feel a little different than most, it is still a time of renovation and rejuvenation and we are here to help. 

Things are always changing and evolving when it comes to COVID-19, so these protocols may change as well.
